Perhaps it is our imperfections that
make us so perfect for one another.
— Jane Austen
My phone automatically switches to silent mode every night and doesn’t turn back on until after I’ve had time to start my day. (There’s a failsafe for emergencies, and my friends know how to get past the digital barricade should they need to get in touch.)
I take at least one day, if not two, off each week. When I’m teaching over the weekend, I'm grateful to have the chance to run errands, visit parks, go to museums, and so on, all while many other folks are at work.
When I logged on this morning, the deluge of text messages, support tickets, emails, and other communications immediately got my attention. What a way to start the week, learning that there’s something woefully wrong with the registration process for next month’s online course about Rolling the Head Between the Hands.
It didn’t take long to figure out what happened.
Initially, we simply titled the program “Unlocking the power of ATM.” Since this summer’s course is a trial balloon for what may become an in-depth “lesson of the month” program this autumn, we decided to change the name to include the reference to rolling the head. Unfortunately, we failed to update the link in the original blog post. This oversight led to considerable consternation and confusion, for which I sincerely apologize.
We have corrected the links, checked, and double-checked that everything is working as it should. There was an issue with the listed times, which we have now also corrected. As today was the early registration deadline, we are extending the early-bird tuition until next Monday, July 21, 2025.

In case you missed the details, this advanced training course addresses what might be quintessential Feldenkraisian “move,” rolling the head. Starting with the classic Awareness Through Movement lessons, you will discover why this foundational movement is so significant. We will unpack how and why these ATMs work and then bridge the gap with Functional Integration to improve how you roll the head in hands-on work and refine your self-use. Finally, you’ll find out how to enhance your students' learning – and your own.
To best fit your learning needs and schedule, we offer this course in two formats: as weekday meetings, one week after the other, which allows for exploring ideas, observational viewpoints, and teaching tactics between sessions, and as a one-weekend workshop, which provides a concentrated learning experience.
