“Let the breath lead the way.”
— Sharon Salzberg
The Feldenkrais Method of somatic education offers a unique — and uniquely effective — approach to improving respiration. Rather than narrowing the possibilities to one correct technique, our approach is to expand the repertoire so that the way students breathe adapts to whatever activity they are engaged in and, equally importantly, continues uninterrupted. Without willpower or regimented rehearsals or workouts, without trying to overpower or outthink this ongoing, unconscious process, breathing becomes a means to developing mindfulness and improving coordination.
If you’re curious how Moshe’s method addresses, works with, and transforms the breath, I invite you to join me for an informative, no-cost 90-minute webinar. Since this presentation is also part of the lead-up to the new PRO-Feldenkrais International Teacher Training NL, I will also discuss the role of breath in the training process and how future teachers learn to work with respiration.
This online program will:
- Address the function and structure of respiration.
- Clear up common confusions and stubborn superstitions.
- Uncover the ins and outs of optimal breathing.
- Provide firsthand experience of a somatic movement lesson.
- Give you a chance to get your questions about the method and the upcoming training program answered.

Sadly, I find that the Life and Breath registration is not available to anyone in the United States. The list of countries stops at United Kingdom.
Hello Russell – Please don’t let that discourage you. Just select any country you like and complete your registration! Looking forward to seeing you online. Larry -
