Participation & Tuition Agreement
As a participant in the BREATHING BETTER (BB) modules of MASTERING THE METHOD (MTM):
◌ I pledge to attend at least 85% (eighty-five percent) of the class of the MTM modules in which I am enrolling.
◌ I understand that the Tuition is per module, whether or not I attend every day, and grant that there will be no credits or refunds for any missed classes.
◌ I acknowledge that 20% of my tuition is being considered a non-refundable down payment. If I cancel less than 30 calendar days, but not more than 7 calendar days prior to the first day of class, I understand that I am only eligible for a 50% refund of my remaining tuition.
◌ I further agree that should I cancel my participation from 7 calendar days or less before the course begins, I will not receive a refund or credit.
◌ I understand that, in accordance with Mind in Motion’s No Risk Guarantee, if I attend the entire first three days of the course and if and only if I inform the instructor and the Mind in Motion office in writing that I am not satisfied with the course anytime during those first three days, I am eligible to receive a refund 100% of my tuition.
◌ I pledge to maximize the benefits of MTM by participating in study groups and/or working with a study buddy as well as practicing and doing homework as much as my schedule permits.
◌ I commit to act in accordance with the professional ethics and standards of practice guidelines established by the Feldenkrais Guild of North America (FGNA) or the professional Feldenkrais teacher organization of my country of residence. In the case where my country of residence has no professional organization and that I am not a member of such an organization in another country, I will abide by the standards of practice and ethical guidelines of the FGNA. No matter what, I will act in ways congruent with the values of respecting each other's learning process, nurturing our ability to be our own authorities, and building a better future together.
◌ I will ask the other participants before taking any photographs or videos of individuals or of the class. I promise to provide copies of all photographs and videos to the Mind in Motion office within two weeks of the completion of the training.
◌ I guarantee that I will honor the copyright and intellectual property rights of written or recorded materials made available during the training by not copying, transcribing, or otherwise reproducing them in any way.
I acknowledge that any unauthorized use of these materials is the basis for legal action and financial penalties for intellectual property rights violations.
◌ I grant Mind In Motion the right to use all audio and video recordings made during the training and also relinquish all future commercial rights to these recordings and images.
Furthermore, I agree that I will be solely and fully responsible for any and all costs associated with complying with any request I make anytime now or in the future to remove my image and/or voice from all or any part of these multimedia materials.
◌ I promise to never create any clandestine personal video or audio recordings of any part whatsoever of the training.
◌ I vow to never offer or give any personal or professional consultation (paid or otherwise) other than those expressly permitted in this agreement; nor to promote or sell any product, service, or event to any participant at any time during class time.
Any request for an exception to any of these prohibitions must be made at least one week before the first day of the module. In the rare situation when an exception is granted, it will only be considered valid if you have obtained the express written permission of the Trainer, prior to the start of the segment.
◌ I agree that should any of the sections of this agreement prove unenforceable, the rest of the agreement will still apply.
◌ Finally, I confirm that this agreement is made and shall operate under the laws of the State of California.
